Take a look at Revolver Lover, as well as their new magazine, ANTI.
Check out the Identity Archives, “the premier online keyword-searchable database of logos and brand identity designs from around the world.”
Jeffrey Zeldman recently published the second edition of Designing with Web Standards. The book has been updated to reflect the latest developments in web standards and is a must read for web designers and developers. You should also check out A List Apart, which features articles on web standards and other relevant topics.
Take a look at the AIGA's Urban Forest Project. “Design Times Square: The Urban Forest Project brings 185 banners created by the world’s most celebrated designers, artists, photographers and illustrators to New York’s Times Square. Each banner uses the form of the tree, or a metaphor for the tree, to make a powerful visual statement.”
It's time to get serious about "net neutrality." First, watch a hilarious video on wearetheweb.org. This will illustrate two things. First, creative people use the Internet constructively in the name of free speech and creative freedom. Second, if Internet access is regulated and certain web sites are "prioritized," the voice of the creative community will be compromised. Worse yet, because the Internet is a portal for free speech, people who previously used the Internet for a platform to discuss and communicate about important topics might lose their platform or, at best, reach only a fraction of their intended audience. As with any important issue, you need to become knowledgeable and form your own opinions. Some of the former sites might have a "hidden agenda." Approach the issue from multiple angles, form your own opinions and take action.
Check out the Perfect Fools web site. Cool stuff.

I also want to mention the new Computerlove, which isn't really new. The blog format, which allows the use of images, makes finding interesting work fun and easy. Sure, you have to love Newstoday, K10K, Lounge72 and others, but I think that the use of images makes the experience richer.
TheHumanGiant.com serves up inhuman comedy at inhumane prices. Check it out.
There is cool, and then there is full screen, streaming video of viruses walking around cities. Neave.tv delivers this second and under appreciated form of sweetness. TGIF and enjoy.
Nitrocorpz Design delivers some hefty cool.
Another Hump Day! Lost At E Minor offers up news on art, design, music and popular culture, and with the recent redesign of their web site, they are well worth a visit. Subscribe to their newsletter and "wow" your friends with your spectacular knowledge of all that's cool.
You might also dig the design work of Mike Harris at Destill. Finally, I would pay a visit to the new Change the Thought online store, where you can purchase some deluxe gear.
Amautalab is too cool to wait until tomorrow morning. This incredible mix of interactivity and design results in a singular experience.
Holy free fonts, Batman. TypeNow.net boasts 6363 free fonts.
The new Pericraft web site has a supa cool interface. Zoom out, and you can see the hole web site. Very nice.
Happy Friday. Some things to delight the average reader.
This is pretty cool. Every week, an invited flash animator adds a new chapter to the The Exquisite Corpse Project, resulting in a mix of interesting media styles.
